Another school year opens... and for Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School, all systems go!!! Classrooms were cleaned, facilities were checked, schedules were set and minute details were all taken cared of.
I am sure my students are ready to face another challenging year of their so called "first day high"... As a teacher for almost twelve years, students, parents and my co- teachers have their ways of telling you what I am inside the classroom.
The teacher turned disciplinarian is always mistaken as the Terrorist inside the classroom.No, I am not. It is just a stereo type thing on how I manage my class. I lay down the rules and it is up to the student on how she/he conceives it; I am always fascinated the uniqueness of each being inside the four walls of my classroom...hungry for that quest for knowledge and some are just there in their seats; the minds are somewhere in their respective fantasy/dreamlands...
Wishful thinking, you might consider it, but don't do it inside my class! For I mean business! and I believe that those brains capable of being filled with knowledge and ideals are sure way capable of coming in contact with Alzheimer's, so students...find ways to cure it, ok?
Fill those tummies with proper nutrition, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! That's the basic thing to do before coming to school. Good grooming and healthy hygiene too.
Well... let's get to know each other better by doing your first assignment online...Follow the instructions! Web blogging is a way to open, and expressing your self in a very democratic manner of interactions and communication using the English Language. My First Day In School
It's now my 2nd time in MCCNHS but it's always very exciting to go to the next level because
i face new challenges. The excitement never fades because our new teachers give us the chance
to prove to ourselves and to them that we deserves to go tp the next level.
This day very special to me because this is the day where i can meet new teachers, classmates
and especially, new teachers.
When I entered the gate, i saw Tatay (our old guard) and I greeted a nice good morning and
he wave his hands to me. After that, I saw Aljohn (my 1st yr. classmate) finding his room with
his father. He also didn't find his room so we find ou rooms together. It's already Flag Ceremony
but still we didn't find our rooms. Suddenly after the flag, his father called and told us that his
name was in Section Shama. I followed him and thought that we are not classmates, but for my
surprise I saw 8 names from Section Lirio last year.And for my surprise my name was also there.
I have a promise to myself, that i won't be late in the signing of clearance. And I will give my
teacher the right answers and suggestions in class so that i won't get a deduction points.
I'm very grateful that my room is the Section Shama even if there is an instant swimming pool
if it's raning because it has the disciplinarian teacher like Mrs. Beduya.
I liked the way Mrs. Beduya wants us to pass our written outpust in the Internet not only for
the games but we will be aware of the technology that this can be very useful in school if it's
used properly and the way it should be, in communication.

My name is Joseph Torrefalma, well my first day of school is hard because i have to adjust myself from my new school. I'm from Mandaue City Science HS,but my parents decided me to transfer for some personal reasons like I wasn't able to get into school early in the morning. I was lack of self-control like i cant stop myself playing games,but i decided to be a new me..i want to change myself from my new school,new teachers who can help me overcome this so-called addicted in games..but i try my best because i know the change will start in myself..and with the help of my new teachers i know I'll change...I like the school rules and regulations.. I'm looking forward for my change and teachers who will teach us more not just from the lesson but also improving self-confidence.I'm expecting more adventures being a student in high school life...

Hello!!! I am Joana Marie C. Ateson 2nd year Section Shama. I'm 14 years old. I live in Plaridel St. Alang-alang Mandaue City. My new teacher in 2nd year is Mrs. Lorna Beduya. My hobbies are playing piano...playing badmenton...watching TV... eating etc.... My ambition in my life is to go in the Boracay because Boracay is wonderful place. My expectation in my life is to learn speaking english and I will learn this subject in English and I'll study hard and I do my assignment and project...My expectation in my teacher is to be a good teacher and not so strict. I expect also that my adviser is a good teacher for the second year Shama.
I like the rules and regulations because all students in the MCCNHS is perfect.

My first day of school was very fun and also shocking one,because when i entered the gate;someone autimatically greeted me hi.I'd never expected that a guy that handsome would greet to me.I felt flattered about it!Then,a group of girls caught my attention;it was them!,my close classmates!So,of course,I approached them with a big smile.Then we exitedly talked about our summer vacations.Then,suddenly we decided to search for our names because its getting late already.Some of my classmates found their name already,so they decided to go in their new classrooms.Surprisingly,the bell rang,so,I found myself falling in line in in another's section line.
After the flag ceremony,I saw my classsmate in summer class,I'd never thought that were classmates.Then we enteres the classroom.I'd observed that the classroom was so messy,but I did'nt help in cleaning because i dont like.After cleaning we seated in our respected chairs.
Minutes passed,a teacher finally approached us.She introduced her name and gave requirements and discussed about her grading system.After a long time of waiting for new teachers to come,new students to enroll,then,all was finally set.Then its time for lunch.My old classmates;we all decided to eat together.We has a lot of fun talking about our new teachers,new classmates,our room's most handsome guy&most beautiful girl.After eating lunch,we all decided to see our room's most handsome guy.The classmate of Jikko caught my attention because(by the way Jikko is a gay) he's been telling me a lot about that guy but I did'nt had the chance to meet him.But it's okey.I'm not interested about him anyway.In the afternoon,we did'nt do anything so i decided to take a nap.When its finally 4:00,my old classmates and I go home......
And that's what happened in my first day of school...

I felt very sad in my first day of school . I was assigned to a section where I had no former classmates. By the way I'm Marie Claire C. Arcenas 2nd year high school I am in section Canary. Im 13 years old. I live in Basak Mandaue City . My 2nd year adviser is Mrs. Gomez . My ambition in my life is to abroad in USA. My hobbies are playing computer,chatting with my friends, reading books,stories and etc.
My expectation to myself is to learn and be humble always . My expectation to my new teachers is to be a nice teacher and not so strict. I'm glad that I am in 2nd year level. I expect that the school rules and regulations are fair and sound and promote the best welfare of the students.

I am excited to learn a lot of things through the internet especially blogging because I know that this will help me as a student to be disciplined and responsible enough to do my assignments at the same time enjoying it since I love computers.Coz i knew that theres no teacher is terror if she dont have irresponsible and lazy students. This day in the morning i came late in school but not totally late because i attended the flag ceremony.

yesterday,my father said that there's no classes because of baguio "frank".. but still, i want to go to school, so my father drove me to school. the traffic was so heavy so i came to school late..as i entered the room, my groupmates were busy cleanning the room,i was so ashamed because as a leader, i have to come to school early to tell my groupmates to clean.. i ask forgiveness to them, and they just accept it.. we didn't finish getting the water out of our room..

Today is Thursday,Iwoke up early in the morning to prepare and ready my things to be use in our subject in this day.Ileave our house and went to school.When I arrived at the school the flag ceremony was already started.I attened until it finished.After the flag ceremony we went yto our respective rooms until the our teacher arrived.We started our first subject in tth and it is math,my classmates and I recited about the consistent system ,Im so very glad b-coz I recited it correctly. In our Filipino subject our teacher Mrs.Comparativo let us danced first before we report in our group activity.After our subject in the morning I ate my lunch after it I continued making myn activities in Filipino and after I made it I passed it to my Filipino teacher. The AP subject is our first subject in the afternoon,Mr.Adlawan discussed about the countries and their respective capital.After our class we had our rosary,after it we had cleaned our room and departed to our home.When I already in our house I swept the floor and I ate my dinner early, and I went in the internet cafe with my mother and I made my journaL.

I'm sheila may borling 2nd year section sunbird and was afraid to know who's my teacher is and finding my room is so exciting but was also scared.My subject teacher is also nice and was very nice to us all.Knowing the attitude of our subject teacher was also confusing.It is also exciting knowing some attitude of new people but happy to meet other and even though your too shy you cant never stop meeting new people.I am happy cause I didn't failed in my first year.ITS A NICE DAY FOR ME!!!

During the first day of school that was June 10,2008 I feel different emotions.I was nervous,excited,happy,ashamed and afraid.Nervous because i dont have any clue on who will be my adviser.Excited because I will be able to meet new classmates and teachers.Happy because I'm looking forward that I will be able to find new friends and learn new things from the teachers this year.I was really ashamed because when i enter the classroom the faces of the people inside were really new, i mean i really dont know them but i'm glad one of them was my classmate last year.But the most dominant feeling i felt was being afraid because it might be so hard to mingle with different personalities but im really hoping that all of them are nice and looking forward that all of them will be my friends.The incident that i really can't forget was when my teacher scolded me because i was not able to answer her questions.I really felt bad that day seems like that day i'm really unlucky but anyways atleast I learned.I can't wait to know my classmates better as well as the teachers.I know that in this level i need to put much effort inorder to survive"THIS IS A GREAT CHALLENGE!!!!AJAH!!!!!!!!
